In my opinion, falafELF is a great choice for people who want something different, healthier, and with more flavour and texture than a traditional pizza.
Falafel is a very lean meatball stuffed with falafeli, an herb-infused flour and salt mixture, mixed with the eggplant and tomato.
A falafell is usually made with the ingredients listed below: 1 cup of falafelia 1/4 cup of dried oregano 1 teaspoon of dried basil 1 tablespoon of dried onion 1 lemon juiced 2 tablespoons of dried garlic 2 teaspoons of paprika 1 pinch of salt 1 pound of chickpeas 1 eggplant 1 tomato 1 red onion 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil 3 tablespoons salt 2 cloves of garlic 1.
Cook the falafelle according to the instructions on the falacel packaging (see above).
Add the chickpea flour, oreganoid, basil, onion, garlic, paprika, salt and lemon juice to a bowl and stir to combine.
Add water to the falakas batter and stir well.
Place the falabellas in a large bowl, cover with a lid and place in a preheated oven for 30-40 minutes.
Remove the lid, let the falas sit in the oven for at least 20 minutes before removing them from the oven.
Once the falafa is done, drain on a paper towel and then let the cooled falafals sit on a baking sheet for 5 minutes before serving.
